It's a bit unfortunate that you can't power from an external source, only charge.

Yeah that’s one of my personal gripes with it, in my use cases with all the NPF & V-Mount batteries I have it is a shame that none of them can power the light. It would have been nice to have the option

@@ZacoBroWe still do get the 60W and 100W output without any external source right?

@pashagoon correct, the 100W Boost mode can still be activated with no need to plug anything else in. At 100% @ 60W the light will run for about 60 minutes. At 100%+ @ 100W the light will run for about 45 minutes. All off the battery.
