This upload is the final part of "Tolkien in Oxford" 1968 BBC interview.
When BBC arranged several days to interview Tolkien in 1968, a lot of Video/Audio materials were never used and are still sitting in BBC storage. These unpublished materials are only available on transcript provided by Oxford professor Stuart Lee in 2018 (Tolkien in Oxford Reconstruction, PDF).
The PDF file has a lot of good stuff but is very long and difficult to read for most people. Extracting Tolkien's words into audio makes it more accessible.
========
The whole 1968 interview has now been compiled into 3 parts in this channel:
part-1: released video (see video #1)
part-2: released audio (see video #8 - green cover)
part-3: this video
Voice cloning:
The first 20 minutes is generated using Tolkien's voice recordings. Similarity is there but it is far being anything deepfake/disrespectful if you are already familiar with Tolkien's recordings (though most people still got fooled by the fake Eagle-Doom video).

Heh, I was reading this just the other day. The software-generated speech is weird in that it lapses towards what sounds like a US pronunciation for the letter R. As far as I can tell, Tolkien rolled (or tapped, or whatever the technical term is) his Rs, less so the general rhotic sound. And the speech should of course be much faster and more mumbling!
