TOLLER CRANSTON'S STRAWBERRY ICE

The incredible Toller at his best and doing his own thing. No one could have imagined that this could have been put on television with the creative genius of Mr. Cranston, still regarded as the one individual who changed figure skating forever. While never a world or Olympic gold medalist, he demanded that skating be viewed as an art form and not just a competitive sport. His brilliance is also demonstrated by his 5 books and wonderful paintings (I own 12 paintings and signed prints at my Calif. home)

Words cannot express his tremendous talents on ice and paintings. He was such an original artist and eventhough the judges did not understand him (they should never been judges to begin) he left such a mark on the skating world. I loved his artistry and imagination. He took you with him to a journey. Thank You Toller Cranston. You will never be forgotten. RIP xx

Thanks for posting Toller's Strawberry Ice . .. . love it always! So very sad to hear of his passing . . .muich, much too early! Every single gesture he made meant something within the music and the characters he protrayed. Not a single bar of music nor movement was ever wasted. He sang with his body and interpreted music like a ballet dancer, opera singer, instrumentalist and painter all rolled into the passionate artist he was. He was breathtaking and captivating to watch (and will always be). For me, the essence, artistry and delightful enigma that is Toller lives on through his artwork. I`m fortunate to own one of his brilliant pastels! No skater before him nor since has ever inhabited music and dance as he has! My thoughts go with his family, friends and the wonderful Ellen Burka!

Beautiful Toller. Fantastic marvellous artist. And brilliant skater. Now Heaven is being entertained by him which should take happiness into future existence for him in heaven. As from February 2015 He will be sadly and greatly missed on earth Love. Love. Love
