So sorry about your loss of Belle. When you were pulling into your campsite after the dump station was there a windshield crack down by the wiper arm? You have a 60 gal gray tank. We have a 37 gal gray tank. We have gone 10 days without dumping our gray one time. It got within a couple of gallons from full. We use a plastic basin in one sink and fill up the bowl with a couple of inches of water and soap. Then wash items and on a low trickle rinse. We use paper plates also. We wipe food particle off plates with paper towels before washing. For a quick shower use navy showers. I count to 15 to rinse then turn the nozzle, soap up and the rinse and count to 20. Still gives a refreshing shower. While waiting for the water to get hot use a one gallon bucket to collect the water then turn off the shower head. Use the water in the bucket for toilet use. Black tanks seem to last longer. A tote is good to have if you have room to store one. A smaller version, 15 gal, is not as heavy even with wheels. Is there cell service at this campground? Safe travels.
@TollesonLife5 жыл бұрын
Hello KJRitch! Thanks for your kinds words about Belle. We miss her. Not a crack in the windshield (thank goodness) just a piece of pine straw. Appreciate the tips on how to conserve water usage when sewer is not an option! 10 days...Wow! There is cell service at the campground just no wifi. Thanks for watching!

Hey, thanks for another great video, I just want to give you and wife, an idea for when you do not have wifi in the park, look into buying an at&t or verizon jet pack, that way you can have internet access for your devices, I think you can do a contract or buy the data prepaid, I don't know which service works better in your area, but u will have internet access in your coach and work from your coach without leaving.. thanks again

@@TollesonLife You'll enjoy it. Thanks for the Stone Mountain Park Video. Better than what the websites give you. Quick question: I'm looking at the 399TH. What made you decide on the 397? Thanks in advance!
@TollesonLife4 жыл бұрын
Jerffery, only a couple of reasons, we like being able to get to the refrigerator, restroom and bedroom with the slides in. The 399 we couldn't do that without opening the slides. When traveling having access was something we wanted. Second reason was our dealer only had the 397 so we went with it. Really love it too.

How big are the tanks on these new RVs? I'm in an older Wanderlodge and we have 130 gallons of potable, and 98 gallons for each black and gray. With zero conservation we can go 9-10 days. With conservation we hit 14-18 days.
@TollesonLife5 жыл бұрын
Bruce, on my 2018 Tiffin, it has a 70 gallon fresh water tank, a 66 gallon grey water and 50 gallon waste water tank. I believe those tank sizes are pretty close to most others out there nowadays (not exactly, but close) Wow, the Wanderlodge has some large tanks. That awesome!

Thanks for sharing the tour of your Tiffin & the campground. You might consider getting a “blue boy” (portable waste tank) so you won’t have to move the rig when you need to dump your grey tank. Makes it a bit more convenient for longer stays without sewer hookups. We are so sorry to see that your little pup has passed away. We recently had to say goodbye to our RVing kitty, Lilo. It’s never easy. Our thoughts are with y’all.
