As a rider I will always advocate your style of riding...riding alone. Riding with such a large group actually removes the fear factor from the rider. In my humble opinion, in order to truly assimilate with the Himalayan environment, that fear factor is necessary.

True about needing to respect the elements and nature wherever you go and that develops more as you ride alone or in small groups. It's nice to mix up formats of rides, but a solo adventure is a huge learning experience

I could relate to that water crossing very well.. While getting back from khardung la it was about 5 in evening and my bestie fell in water crossing. He was drenched to his neck in that ice water. But these are the moments that will be always alive in us. Hardest part are always memorable. Water in shoes is the thing which I always wanted to avoid. But couldn't.
