India is just legendary, All that heavy breathing reminds me of the time when I rode with my girlfriend in the Himalayas on an Himalayan. I could relate to it, she was the pillion rider and with the bike's weight and her weight in such technical terrain I had to cook the clutch plates and the brake pads too. Just like you said I just don't give a fuck. Halfway through I had to pop an altitude sickness pill because I started hearing my heartbeat through my ears and I was about to pass out while riding. Im from Sri Lanka living in the UAE coming from these areas and suddenly seeing the snow and riding through these snow covered mountains just blew my mind. I just love India and soon I shall return to this magical land. Inshallah.❤❤

Great work Adam. Got back yesterday from Ladakh, India, where I rode a black and gold Himalayan. I rode with my 22 year old son so your father and son recollection had me misty eyed. You're right about changing perspective to understand the world better, and about doing adventurers whilst we still can, especially with family. We rode the high road passes up to nearly 6,000m altitude, and found some roads not yet on the maps. The Himalayan was ideal with its soft suspension and soft power. Melb, Australia. Beep beep.

I found some comfort in that snow part. Last winter when my car engine was broken I rode my little Honda CRF250L to work troughtout the winter, temps -25C, snow storms, snow, ice and darkness. And while I had studs in my tyres and elevation was nothing compared, it was whole new part of motorcycling, that taught me lots of new skills. I always wanted to start winter riding but was little too scared to begin. But when my car engine blew, something good came out of something bad, I was "forced" to do it. While I have rebuild the engine, I will ride to work next winter too! Its a little personal adventure within my everyday life and I get to ride motorcycle all year around. Awesome video as always! Regards from Finland.

Sorry for Rothang Tunnel Adam. I was a technical consultant for tunneling through the complicated geology at the South portal. My daughter and I did Rothang pass on an old Bullet 350 back in 2010. BTW I believe you are confusing stubbornness for perseverance. I am back in India since last year for a new underground construction project in Uttarakhand. Got myself a Hanle Black 450 and love it to bits. As much fun as my HP2 Enduro back home in South Africa

@@MotologyFilms I am married to a beautiful Himachali lady that I met when working there. The Rothang pass tunnel was built by Indian contractors. A huge challenge due to its length, geology and the harsh winters both on the Solang/Manali side and the South portal. My father passed away some years ago and like you I did not always have the best times with him while I was younger. Later on we became true friends and I connect with him still from time to time. Waiting for another Motonomad movie from you. Thanks for your exemplary contribution to the biking community all over the world.
