Man, this club's play is surreal!!! What a fantastic match; Zack Steffen continued his stretch of outstanding play in this tournament. And come on. You know it's Rafa season still (more great assists to him)! There is just so much to say about how amazing we've played. Most of all, we are tenacious! It seemed as if it didn't matter to anyone on the pitch if the deciding goal was called offside. They just said "Let's do it again". and did! We travel out to Carson, in California, where we will play Club América. Quarterfinals, here we come. It'll be tough, but we're ready! Go Rapids❤💙

This game was a total failure by toluca. I was watching and they completely dominated, couldve been 3-0 at half. But they didn't take advantage of their chances. Toluca was the better team but they deserved to lose since they wasted their chances. America on paper should beat Colorado but look what happened in Colorado, so can't count out Colorado.

Colorado were very smart to get 4 players that should be playing in Europe. Because of Anti-American sentiment and bias instead they're rated differently than their European counterparts. If an American player isn't above average an average European player is givin their spot. Steffen is clearly an exceptional keeper better than most EFL championship keepers.

I saw a story about "English exceptionalism" and the recent riots. What it said was, basically, the "English" are a**holes and have been for years. The story referenced Scots/Irish experiences working/living/etc in England. The riots, were partly blamed on the English not accepting reality - they're not special like they think. They even brought up Brexit. It was suggested the reason those who supported Brexit thought there would be a lot trade deals/etc., when there was no evidence suggesting there would be, was because the Brexiters thought the world would be happy to make deals with England...just because they're English. Reading your comment immediately reminded me of that story. It might not just be "Anti-American" it might be the English looked down on everybody on Earth.
