well Tom and Ben were friend before the Yogscast and Tom even got Ben his job there. Ben worked really hard behind the scenes for years before he eventually got infront of the camera.

To me, Ben is as much the heart and soul of the Yogscast as Simon and Lewis. For a major part of the "golden era" as people might call it, of the Yogscast, Ben was the huge behind the scenes driving force, and he still is. That he also turned out to be a great on-camera personality was just the icing on the cake.

And side note: he also did some sort of Minecraft escape room thing a couple times in the past couple months as well (but with Lewis). The escape rooms felt too straightforward though.
