hello the old pinned comment got too many people arguing in the replies so i’m reposting it. og post by tako truck OKAY so if you didn't already know but, Tord didn't leave because "ships". He left in the early stages of the Web channel because he got un deserved hate. Talking about ships there is a line between Characters, Just notice if something isn't "based" off a real person but is the real person that's when you cant go to the shipping level because you go BEYONDD the line , But if a character is "based" or is a whole fictional character then sure there is some expections, If the characters are based and you ship them and they don't mind ig its fine, but if they're uncomfortable with it please stop, it isn't nice to know somebody wants you to date someone that's also straight(or different sexuallitys or aromatic) . Okay uh so clear things up, those weren't actually him making those claims he made a 9 min video about the real reason he left, it's of prime 3 reasons: - The death of his best friend(Edd, maybe he rest) - He doesn't want to be a lesh off his friend work, he wants to start something and pursue something he wants to, something he is passionate about - He doesn't like that people kept mis characterize him because of the show, he's his own person and not the character, it's 2 different people (well ig thats what you're saying and try to warn and I agree just tried to add more) NOTE: just google "Tord Explains Why He Left Eddsworld" and the video will show, pretty easy to find

My personal tordtom opinion: I ship it in the future AU but not in present because it would make less sense for the present. Never in my life will I tolerate anyone making Tord a bottom, considering hes done much more than tom. And before anyone says, "but toms a demon" technically tord is too due to his horns. Think about it; who would be top, someone who blew up his best friends house, is a demon, killed someone, and takes over the world, NOT A SOFTIE, and a physco, or a demon, STILL NOT A FUCKING SOFTIE.
