You're absolutely right, Tom mentioned in an interview that he identified a lot with the lyrics of "Creep". When he was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of eight, he felt an outsider and very isolated. Today he helps other people with diabetes, educates them and provides information about this disease. Tom Ball is a wonderful soul with a voice that is unforgettable!🙏💞

Yes, his BGT performances were great, but I did feel he got even better as far as his body language and expression. However, his rendition of "I who have nothing" and his audition song, both on BGT were so Outstanding...and then there is the Sound of Silence! I do not understand how he did not win, once again. Fist time, he lost to a comic, second, a single aerial gymnast, (i believe) both were good, but Tom Ball...well You heard him....Phenomenal! Thank You for featuring this Beautiful and Talented Man!

So pleased you saw him singing Creep. Yes, he was on BGT, audition, semi final and final and he came back a year later. He's got an album coming out soon and he's touring with The Overtones here in the UK. He's doing really well.

Lyle, he had made it to the finals of BGT but didn't win it. They invited him to AGT All-Stars, and he has done a phenomenal job!!! And yes, he is a teacher! Glad you reacted to this!

I love great singers... AGT and BGT have had quite a few over the years. I honestly think Tom has the purest voice I've ever heard. On top of that, his arrangement choices make his versions of the songs he sings unique and amazing. Thanks for doing this reaction. Only ever seen 2 singers in my lifetime with so much passion and emotion and that the great mario lanza and luciano pavarotti.this young man tom ball shows that very same trait,an outstanding singer how he was never discovered earlier is a mystery.❤

What I really like about how he sings this song is that he sings it with an edge. He doesn't sing it with a 'poor pitiful me' attitude. I haven't heard anyone else sing this song and convey an inner strength like Tom does. This song is timeless because we have all felt left out. But his message is, yeah, you belong. He is just an incredible voice and I love to see your reactions. If you want some real ear candy, listen to his new album, Curtain Call. Extraordinary.

You are right that he has been in that position and said those words. He came out with a clip and said when he was in school and was dealing with being Type 1 that he never knew where he belonged and always felt uncomfortable in social situations.

I don't know where they dug up the "judges" but they could have been better judging a board game. It seems strange that Tom was accorded sincere, topnotch comments every appearance until the very last part of the finale when accolades went to very different performers, all of whom would have been terrific in a different show. Or Tom should have participated in a classier show. Tom deserves the best.

Im sure someone told you by now, but yes ... Tom was on Britians God Talent and lost. Have you heard him sing Sound of Silence? Simon told Tom that if he would have sung this song on BGT he progagly would have one. Tom's voice is amazing and the emotion in his face, hands, stance brings it home. My other half & I have been trying to determine what lane he could fit into. His voice is to big for night clubs. He's not operatic. He's not a rock star. He's got the voice for Broadway, but his body type is the sidekick not leading man. He is a total sweetheart.
