Phase 2 = Respect The consistency of Brady has been unmatched, and his talent to win close games is unmatched in the sport of football. Phase 3 = Admiration The first game I ever pulled for Brady was the Falcons Superbowl game. Maybe there is a 4th stage too that is reserved for the guy that comes once every 50 to 100 years in his sport. Brady has joined Jordan, Ali, and Ruth. Each and every game we get to see until he finally retires should be cherished for the opportunity to watch the goat of goats play another game.

@antonioorellana5044 жыл бұрын
they always get fooled by those sweet mobile quarterbacks that have incredible mobility and athleticism. When you rely too much on your natural talent you usually lack the fundamentals of what a quarterback is, the captain of the ship. The mobile quarterback usually gets figure out within 3-4 seasons, the nfl is not college football. You can check multiple examples of this. The greatest of all time usually were the least physical ones.
@ernestkovach33054 жыл бұрын
The NFL scouts should have looked deeper. At the University of Michigan Brady was a Star and,in fact, the team captain. He beat out tough future NFL qbs, his record as a 2 year starting qb was an off the charts 21-4 !!!!. He beat historic superpowers: arch rival Ohio State, Notre dame, and Alabama. He played in spectacular fashion in leading the Wolverines to 2 straight stirring come from behind bowl victories over historic SEC powers. Brady was drafted by BOTH major league baseball and NFL teams. No one has his 6th sense graceful footwork inside the pocket to avoid the sack or the rush, no one ever had his pinpoint accuracy nor his amazing touch on the ball when passing....all of these attributes are purely ATHLETIC talents. He is in shape, a genius , and super disciplined . Brady is also a great leader, and it is when you combine his AMAZING ATHLETICISM with his genius...you get the greatest player in NFL history regardless of position. Case closed.

I'm old enough to remember when the Pats had Steve Grogan as the QB. I remember in the '92 season when the Pats had FOUR different players start at QB. Pats were a mess. I remember when Bledsoe was drafted and it kinda turned the franchise around, and then when the Pats "stole" Belichick from the Jets. I remember watching my friend's dad kick his radio across the yard on a Sunday afternoon when Bledsoe got hurt and this skinny kid from Michigan came in. We thought the season was over. It was only getting started. I went to college and lived in Boston from 03-09 and it was fantastic every time work/school was canceled because someone won a championship and the parade route closed streets all over the city. I live in Kansas City now and have had to listen to gloating Chiefs fans tell me all season long that Brady was washed up; Mahomes is going to shut him down; Brady is trash; he is going to pass the torch on to the new GOAT. Packers was closer to scoring on that 4th down. Green bay would of had to drove the entire field to get another td assuming if they got the ball back. The cheap td packers gave up before half no double coverage. Knowing they was going for a hail mary. Falcons running on 3rd and 1 up by 15 points and fumble. When they could of chewed more clock up

What an accomplishment...if I were you, I might even call the Buccs or Tom, they gonna put a ring on your hand too for sure. :D You could have set some real goals for yourself and go all out to achieve them...some that matter...then there might have been an actual reason to be proud of yourself... But instead you have only pumped an opinion about a sports athlete into the ether... and now celebrate yourself for being right in the end...hahaha pathetic. What kind of mentality is that? None that achieves great things...that much is clear...hell not even mediocre/ average ones. And btw, no one likes people who praise themselves...

I think their comments are mostly on point because you have to have some grasp on the subject matter. When it comes to Brady though. The guy is such an outlier, he doesn’t fit into the matrix of regular observation. Most QBs are ecstatic to win one ring. He’s won more than any NFL franchise. He beats entire franchises with his wins. How amazing is that? Half his 20-year-career he’s ended the season at the Super Bowl. He made it look easy. All the rest of the NFL will tell you “It’s really not easy at all.” He makes it part of the expectation. Every facet of Tom Brady’s life will be the subject of minute scrutiny to try and explain how he got there. “What do I have to do to be like Tom Brady?” Good luck with that.

He didn't just play at a high level himself - he built the team: Gronkowski, Brown, and Fournette went to Tampa Bay because Brady wanted them. Also: Brady has the uncanny and unquantifiable ability to make a team jell, get players to like playing with him, and get the best performances out of everyone. When his personal skill set will really decline (it hasn't much yet) he may still be a winner because that leadership ability will still be there.

I think he qualifies to have a trophy named after him when he’s gone (not when he’s still playing, because it’s likely he’d win it, he’s won everything else, and how awkward would that be, winning your own trophy?). “The first winner of the Tom Brady Award is, uh...
