I think this year is different due to him breaking Joe Montana's record for SB wins. It made people stop and think more analytically about what he's accomplished. The biggest thing that resonates with me is his work ethic. How he approaches his job makes him a true role model. Maybe this will qualify my opinion of him more or maybe not: I'm not a Patriots fan. I'm from Seattle and lost our Super Bowl to the Patriots, but I got nothing but respect for Brady, unlike other people who are still bitter over here. Brady is, without a doubt, the greatest ever. I was watching this game with my dad and they got down 21-3 before half and my dad was pissed and went to bed. I wasn’t a patriots fan but I knew Brady was special and I said to myself “it can’t end like this” and I said a prayer. And then they go down 28-3 out of the half and I was torn in my heart watching this icon fall. But then I saw him on the sidelines and I saw his eyes.
