But, I am not going to let uncle Collins and his friends post this media bringing up the interesting poetic justice that everything he is describing is the description of Brock Purdy. Tom I am a lifetime Chiefs fan and I still enjoyed watching your career. Im glad I followed it. I just dont get all the haters on you and now Mahomes. Its funny but I loved watching that exciting texas tech team and didnt realize Mahomes was the quarterback. I waited along time for my Chiefs to get to the top. The appreciation for the game and the players that are at the top of their game. If you just take it in maybe your team will be on top. The hate is just pathetic

yeah people always gotta make these arguments where it's one extreme vs the opposite extreme and that's it lol they can't just appreciate greatness without finding something else to cut down in the process, it's a weird adversarial trait that society seems to breed into our common mentality

As someone who hated Tom while he was playing, I respect him being labeled the GOAT, and I can see why, and even make arguments for it. I mean, I personally will say Steve Young is my GOAT because of his playstyle, his drive, his no fear win it for everyone at any cost mentality, and... he's a lefty! Steve was my hero growing up I guess. I see many flashes of Steve Young in Brock Purdy, right down to some of those reckless passes and especially those headfirst runs. Granted Purdy is a little more protected today than Steve was as football was without a doubt harder then, but he can still easily get his bell rung like Steve did too. With more experience, and more training and work on his arm and legs, he could be HIM for sure.

Football & Family You are going to be on the television announcing games and kids are going to remember their parents being into the game and when they get older it is going to be like a John Madden type of memory .... I remember when I saw the past QB's on the television and even though I never watched them play I had genuine respect for what they said no matter what they were talking about and that is great in and of itself.... Looking forward to broadcasting taking it to a higher level with you joining their world of sports.....
