Thats everyone tippy-toeing around Brands because the guy is a master at talking a lot and not saying anything or giving any information. Someone asked about Ferrari....because not all the fans know....and Brands saying "You know the answer to that". Brands has no self awareness that not all the fans know and the media asks for the public... not themselves.

@@Ted_Ames You have to remember that these guys asking the questions all know Brands and each other. It was clear when Brands addressed him by his first name and said "You know the answer". They know how Brands is and they know when to push and when not to. Pushing too much gets Brands in his mood and he is one to hold grudges in the future and shun them from further questions. Yeah, someone needs to step up and ask the hard questions...but Brands wont let them do that without repercussion to them not getting called on for questions. ie he will ignore them or not even acknowledge them in the future press briefs. That is Brands. He is more moody than any coach I have ever seen.

I was hawkeye fan then stepped away from the sport around 2018 and coming back now and I can see that Brands and Iowa have not evolved and are "Stuck". You have to weigh risk vs reward. If they came in and couldnt change it could be the end of the brands brothers. Should they come to iowa i hope tom and terry can get through to them. They may be a case of nature being to strong for nurture. I think they are good wrestlers but crappy people. Can 5 years of coaching overcome 20 years of poor parenting. Do they want to risk the potential felonies to win potential titles. You should recruit athletes like they are going to live in your house.

The Brands brothers have destroyed the Brand of Iowa wrestling. They should of seen how Ferrari was wronged and when an Iowa Wreslter threw a punch at another wrestler, and that wrestler was just defending himself. He should of given the true winner the trophy.
