That wasn’t a bad night in State College, that was as good as Iowa could expect

1:38 "I may be splitting hairs with your question, but no I'm not". Well said, genius. Leave it to Brands to contradict himself and manage to avoid acknowledging an easy to understand question by making a convoluted answer that really made no sense. Yeah, we know..."Heres the thing, we got work to do" (said in every interview post match.... past, present and future.)

We want Brands to keep coaching...because " We Are " .........

Pedophile state? I don’t know why you guys keep saying it. It’s like, we know; Sandusky; we’re aware of what you guys are like over there. But do you also have some short term recall issues? Apparently, because Iowa just won a title in 2021…would’ve been two straight if not for COVID. Maybe just relax a bit with the arrogance. Good team this year but a lot can change in a short time so…btw, why are you watching all these Iowa vids? Are they in your head just a bit. Jealous maybe that your program will always be second best to Iowa and okie state? lol, it’s okay little bro! Keep pushing hard and maybe someday you’ll have the history of a team like Iowa or okie state 😂😂😂😂

"We are" has got to be the dumbest mantra in all of college. The university has dumbed it down so everyone can remember what to say without using big words. It means nothing of value and is made as simple as possible to accommodate the dim fan base and not confuse them with too many words. Its the equivalent of "I am Groot". lol

Brands needs a Md. to get right. So far behind and falling. He has no clue how to be elite in new wrestling point system and playoff bonus points. Can't win 2-1 anymore.

Are you aware of Tom brands style and philosophy; any of the history…like at all? Did you ever watch him wrestle? Do you ever hear what he preaches constantly to his guys? Yeah, I didn’t think so…

@@tylerommen5452 I watched his wrestlers for the last five years and I watched everyone else. There is a difference.

@@robertkauffman8137yeah the difference is that everyone else is worse than the Iowa wrestlers, excluding maybe Penn state, and that’s only some years. Get real. No one is in the same ball park as Iowa and Penn state. Everyone has an era. Right now it’s Cael’s. You won’t have short memory syndrome anymore when the Cael era ends

@@n.h6001 the problem for Iowa is when the Cael era ends the Taylor era will begin. Face the facts.

@@n.h6001 All dynasties end. Ask Alabama. So, will PSU. The waters are stirring at OKie State. Wrestling for bonus points made Cael stand out as a winner of Championships and a destination for the best wrestlers. That is the only way to compete today. The game has passed by Brands and he needs a reset to get back on top.

Can’t come close to Penn State and just lost the best kid in Iowa (Dreshaun Ross) to Oklahoma State. Unfortunately Brands is done.

I didn’t hear that. That’s huge! That kid is the real deal.

With the transfer portal, that means nothing. The kid can change his mind multiple times from now until he is on the roster, and even then he isnt guaranteed to stay.

I’m a native Dodger and was really hoping he’d go to Iowa. Hope he does well at Okie State. I’m sure he will.
