holy cow Tom absolutely SAVAGED that intro and outro. I don't think I've had the opportunity to see Tom be so on it at that tempo. He clearly came in top form...and that Goldtop has some special juice. Beautiful overdrive like liquid fire thru those PAFs.... Inspired me for sure!

I don’t think there is anything Tom can’t do. He’s one of the best players on the planet. Have you seen the Paul Davids video where Paul has people play a solo or a track he makes. @501chorusecho SMASHES it man . His part fit seamlessly over Paul Davids track. None of the rest are even close to his level of precision overlay . Tom’s part is towards the end of the video.. I didn’t need to watch anyone after his part. So thoughtful and tasty. There’s a reason he’s one of the most sought after guitar players on the planet. Go watch the Paul Davids video kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaLOdIKEl5lggpYsi=WOC8jtCnaKtIPknw

Totally! They need to get a top-notch Nashville publicist to start promoting In Stereo for a Grammy for instrumental album of the year, it's that damn great. The CDs were sold out when I went to order one, but it was recently available on MP3 on Amazon, so bought it and it's playing every day in my car via bluetooth from my iPhone when I'm running errands. The sound quality of the recording is just as good as the stellar playing. There ain't a weak track on it. These guys are just the best, wish them all the success in the world, they deserve it after all the years they've put in mastering their instruments.

Guthrie is a beast of a guitar player. He definitely knows how to build his part.
@BlugubriousMusic26 күн бұрын
As I understand it, GT did not grow up playing any of our standard influences' music. Just heard him say he needs Tom to help him with rock history... I don't that is a negative here though, I think it actually shows how original he is that he finds things that are so intrinsic to great electric guitar playing. Makes is more amazing to me!
@ratcliffek2 ай бұрын
When Tom asked Guthrie to play a solo, I was like “WAIT! I’m still tryin to UN-melt my damn face from YOUR solo” 🫠 Guthrie rose to the challenge though. Mad respect to him for not exiting stage right instead 😂
@Old-dog-jams2 ай бұрын
No kidding I agree. Then when he says on 4 go to D , and he really throws down. He definitely has a direct connection to wherever it all comes from. I jokingly say, you can sit any guitar player down with a guitar and within 30 minutes they will show you every trick they know. I’ve been watching @501chorusecho Mr Buk for 4 years and he has not repeated anything yet. But dang it has helped widen my guitar awareness
