well thank you but it doesnt work for me I have the game on steam it shows me the error two times and the games just shows black screen for just a second and then it closes automatically and I have tried deleting the dll and also the comp settings

I have win11 64bit. Compatibility mode doesnt work. Deleting file doesnt work. Deleting file and running in compatibility doesnt work. Only time it works is running on Win7 32bit. I logged on my friends pc with win7 32bit and game starts immidiately. Since I made upgrade to win 10 64bit I´m doomed. Nothing helps.

have you found a fix yet i just bought the game not knowing about this issue update: i fixed it by changing to windows 7 compaitibility, installing ubisoftgamelauncher from the games files, then downloaded and logged into ubisoft connect from ubisoft connect websire and then i launch from steam pressed continue anyway and then it worked

Are u playing Ubisoft Connect or Steam? It's annoying you can still buy the games but they never make adjustments so the games boot in new systems
