Hi Tom cousins, I love your composure and execution which are my biggest concerns. You're truly remarkable I wish we could talk inbox

I like watching Chris Melling play but I really wish he would just stop anticipating what shot the players are about to play and instead just comment on the shots being played. Just too much guessing on what shots they’ll play, it’s open to interpretation what the correct shot is so just let them play!

Very true ..I mean the guys on the table are also professional pool players, so why does he predict their shots and when they play differently he sounds so disappointed..come on man, let us enjoy the game..not how you think it should be played..

I think he's a wonderful commentator, it's very educational to hear his thoughts!!

It's interesting to get some insight into the shot choice (assuming they give some reasoning as they normally do) and then seeing a different option. Sometimes the commentators are right. Actually, if all they can do it commentate on the shots being played, all they could really say is "good shot" and "bad shot", is that what you want?

I disagree. The insight he gives to amateur pool players is great.

@jeremygough1387 I'm trying to get better at pool and commentary like this is very helpful.

In the 6th frame could he not have played to pot the black ball as a skill shot shot when potting his last ball ? Or have I misunderstood the international rule set.
@TicTac210 ай бұрын
for some reason that's not allowed in international rules. potting the black with an opponents ball is though

i'm new to this game, but the last break off shot, should be illegal, the 6 reds didn't touch each other.

I agree… who’s to say that the ref didn’t gaff the rack on purpose… These guys rarely check the rack so it’s easy enough to do…

The 'loss of turn' rule is absurd,frame 2 Cousins played it and left Graham snookered by a deliberate foul.How can that be right?
@Unrruly2310 ай бұрын
I don't like that rule. Can be so unfair at times
@franktriggs10 ай бұрын
I agree, should be two shots and loss of turn. To give you a chance to get an advantage. A foul should be the wrong thing to do.
@TicTac210 ай бұрын
it's not really a deliberate foul when potting the opponents ball after striking your own first isn't defined as a foul at all
@christopherfranklin97210 ай бұрын
@@TicTac2 Pool should be a simple game,you choose a colour set and pot them ending with the 8-ball,if you pot anything else it should be a foul regardless of which ball is struck first.
@trisomik_gaming694 ай бұрын
me and my friends still play the old rules, where a foul is a foul you get ball in hand and 2 shots. Foul should be punishing the opponent not you
@someguywhocanfly10 ай бұрын
Are you not allowed to deliberate foul in these rules? Old World Rules you would just DF to pot your opponents balls
@natashafrance71710 ай бұрын
In this rule set, a deliberate foul is loss of frame
@someguywhocanfly10 ай бұрын
Thanks, I guess that's the same as the old blackball rules. Not sure I like that rule, US rules (which are very similar to this newer UK pool ruleset) allow deliberate fouls, but they still basically never happen as ball in hand is usually too powerful, so I don't see the need to disallow it.@@natashafrance717

You should never gain an advantage from fouling
@someguywhocanflyАй бұрын
@@dnbmania Eh, it really depends on what situations the rules can put you in. If literally your only option is to concede the frame by playing a "legal" shot, that's a bad ruleset. There should always be a chance, however slim, of bringing it back.
