Before his divorce from Nicole Kidman in 2001, he had never talked about science education with the outside world, and the media was forbidden to ask about science. However, during his ten-month divorce lawsuit with Nicole Kidman, there were more and more rumors in the media that he had been concealing his beliefs, so he did He talked about it in front of the media, but his original intention was not to preach.In an exclusive interview with Playboy in 2010, he said that he was responsible for what he had done in the past and never talked about any private affairs about him in the future. In fact, it doesn't work. Although he has worked with so many colleagues with him, he has given high recognition to his character and said that he never mentioned his faith in private. Although since the 2005 disturbance, he will no longer mention any of his private affairs in public, just talk about movies, and you will scold him. , saying that he is mysterious and nervous in interviews. He doesn't want others to know anything about him and that he is crazy... In fact, in your eyes, everything he does is wrong!

2010: Playboy:Is it fair to say that your relationship with Scientology is now in the category of a private matter? Tom:What’s interesting is, if I don’t talk about my religion, if I say I’m not discussing it or different humanitarian things I’m working on, they’re like, “He’s avoiding it.” If I do talk about it, it becomes, “Oh, he’s proselytizing.” Reviewing the whole thing and how things can be edited and misinterpreted, I decided, You know what? Here’s the deal. I take responsibility for what happened, but everyone now knows that if I am dealing with humanitarian things, I will talk about that. When I’m promoting a film, I’m not going to get caught up in anything else, and that includes all my personal things. Playboy:The aftermath of that controversy hurt your career. Were you concerned that this dream you’re living of making movies had been jeopardized? Tom:No, I really didn’t. But it was important to me to take responsibility, take a hard look and decide where I go from here. That time was interesting. It was that moment when the internet had really spun out. It was a learning experience for all of us, how these things go. All you can do is learn and say, “This is the way it’s going to go from now on. Here is the line.”

@张珊-y3g3 жыл бұрын
Excuse me, do you know him in real life? Did he hurt you? He has been in the industry for forty years. All I know is that everyone who has worked with him has given high recognition to his character and professionalism. Everyone who has met him is moved by his kindness, enthusiasm and elegance. If a person can disguise himself for forty years and pretend so successfully, it will only prove that he is a real gentleman. Despite many doubts and criticisms, he treats life with tolerance and smile. Can you give the most basic respect to an old actor who is nearly 60 years old and stilldevotes his best to the film to the public? If the church he believes in and himself really do those bad things, you should call the police and punish them with the law, instead of physically attacking him. As an American citizen, he believes in the legitimate religion of the United States, which is his freedom of belief!

Because of his arrogance, he for example came to Iceland to record some part of his movie and instead of doing like Sir Anthony Hopkins when he was here or many other actors/actresses and even soccerstars such as David Beckham, who just stroll around town not thinking they are god and need to be protected (Sort of like the Kardashians who thought they needed that going down her shopping street, peopel could not give more shit..), he rented some farm house way up in the country side, and then since he is TOM CRUISE. The Farmers that usually use a certain trail for their daily duties as farmers werent allowed to use that trail because it was to close to Tom Cruises rental place, that road was just "closed" while he was there because well it's Cruise.. and those farmers have NEVER not been allowed to use that trail ever to get where they are going and that is why people dislike him. He's arrogant, pissant.. He may do good action movies but as a human being he's a bad famous prick. Hope that is sufficient as a response and this one had nothing to do with scientology.

The sliding around on the floor in socks reminds me of my military tech school days. We lived in some of WW2 dorms (affectionately called Skid Row). They had hardwood floors that were would polish with Lemon Pledge - much to the chagrin of our First Sergeant who had to do inspections (cautiously trying not to slip and slide in his dress shoes). Let's just say we could all slide around like this.

All the "mandela effect" talk can be really easily explained. He wore sunglasses at other points in the movie, explaining why you'd remember those. Also pale pink can appear white, especially on a lower quality screen with increased brightness. A lot of people also mistake the pink dress in Carrie to be white for that same reason. People just put the two together to imagine that this scene had a white shirt + sunglasses.

@michaelvance99297 жыл бұрын
WOWCruiser Right with the mendella effect thats what it seems. The past is not written in stone. The scary part is its only based on memories. I cannot prove the facts i believe because the tangible evidence has been altered. Thankfullu mutliple people experience this and not one person alone. Could you imagine if you were the only one? It would seem like you were in a matrix and most people would say youre a schizophrenic
@michaelvance99297 жыл бұрын
Ive never known this until i researched. I've noticed some like i remember about a year ago walking in the toy section and looking at monopoly and swearing the man had a monocle on. But small instances like that are blown off until multiple examples were presented to me that i realized something was up. Like the scarecrow has a gun in the wizard of oz. Seen that movie a million times and i know that wasn't there before. The Mendella effect takes place and timeline altererd but in order for the powerball to side in your favor you would still need to find a way to travel thru the past

When I was 20 I was at my GF's parents house - it was new with hardwood floors. I did a big run and slide for about 15 feet then got this shooting pain in my right foot which sent me flying thru the air. Turns out the floors had beveled edges, and I ran across a bit that had a loose splinter. It got buried so deep I couldn't see it and it hurt like a btch. Went to the emergency room, they pulled it out with tools - it was about 1/8" thick by 2" long. Still feel that initial shock 30+ years later. Be careful where you slide!
