Congratulations Tom & Noah! Watching you diving from your first Olympics until today, Silver is welldone this time with Noah. Lian Jun Jie are my favourite to beat you since his first Summer OLY Tokyo and at his young age he is mastering 4.0 - 4.2 difficulties superbly. Watching him since his junior too i am sure he have the answer in individual events.. Below 4.0 is what they did playing safe in syncro to ensure they get the Gold this time. Welldone Tom! See how it goes 😊

Couldn't happen to two nicer people,each in their own way dedicated & determined ; both great ambassadors for GB & its Team ,Tom with his advocacy work & being his authentic self has - on a world stage,shown so many young boys wondering if - particularly with vile,hateful rhetoric that ghastly orange dinosaur & his hateful fundamentalist supporters who think that only straight white men should have a voice,women are denied the right to their own body & members of the LGBTQ+ Community, even hetronormative interracial marrige will be banned! - if they have anything to hope & aim for,this Olympics has show that what you do in private,has zero bearing on the choices you make or goals you aim for in public are not what define you from whichever way you approach, either your private life or career. But,these two exemplify that friendship, positivity & hard work can make dreams come true,this was a team effort & to commend your opponents is an exercise in good sportsmanship. On every level they've show that simply attending & attempting your best is the ethos of these Games,real men knit,real men can show feelings in public, Noah Williams - whom I hope we'll see much more of,welling up when thinking of his coach,Dave Jenkins,who sadly died,far too young only months after the Tokyo games.Tom was fantastic, knowing saddness after the early death of his own his father,who never stopped believing in him & was there in spirit with Tom's husband & their wonderful sonsto whom they are both very hands on parents. They & all his fans WE'RE SO PROUD OF HIM & Noah Williams & it was sweet to see Tom Comforting him. The perfect anti-dote to ALL the ghastly, repetative new from America,a country i dont have the right to vote in. Huge congratulations to you both for some spectacular diving & your gracious speech about Chine,which was expertly handled, you did us proud💥👊👊🔥⚡️

Can someone please explain to me why the Chinese scored higher in synchronisation in that last dive when you can clearly see that Tom and Noah were more synchronised in the replay? I grant that the Chinese team entry was better but 9.5 vs 8.5 in synchronisation?!

I just never understand why living in the United States seems so intriguing. It would never be on my list of things to do. It feels like being a traitor to your home country when you’re not fleeing a war or being a political refugee.

His husband is American
@diverone34332 ай бұрын
As Tom mentioned in the video, his husband's career is in the United States. During the time Tom was active as a national athlete, Lance put his own career on hold and moved to England for more than six years. It was only when Tom decided to retire that they moved back to the United States so Lance could refocus on his own career. This is love, the mutual support that every marriage should have. It has nothing to do with liking America or not. Tom loves Lance, not the idea of living in America.

Increasing in difficulties forcing him let go for Noah, this is from my obzervations. Even Lian Jun Jie stick to max less than 4 since the other diver lower difficulties as he and his partner capable of 4.0 & 4.2 to match the GB pair if Tom & Noah increase to 3.8, 3.9 and 4.0 dive.
