@@patriciaverhoeven7642 I think all the other characters he played led him to be the perfect Lucifer. To not be accused of nepotism his real father only let him play supporting roles. Working with Miranda Hart taught him comedy perfection. He is comfortable around women. The voice coach on Lucifer clearly sharpened his skills. The acting school he went to is known for producing top knotch actors and Tom Ellis is very intelligent. The Other cast members made the show each character was its own spice with Ella being the final ingredient.

Lucifer must go on !! The cast must stay on. It would be a disaster to change them but I love the idea of adding more characters as they did with Lucifer’s daughter which makes a great story line.

I have the entire collection of the Lucifer comic book, so I was annoyed at first by the way the show changed it so much. Still, I watched the first episode and decided, completely on the strength of Tom Ellis's talent, gorgeousness and delivery that I was going to watch the show with the same dedication I read the book. Next I want to see him kill it as 007!

Tom Ellis would be my choice for the next to play The Doctor on DOCTOR WHO. Having appeared on a David Tennant-era episode shouldn't be a deterrent, as both Colin Baker and Peter Capaldi appeared on D.W. prior to taking the role.

As a fellow Brit, I quite struggled watching Lucifer, I kept expecting ‘Miranda’ (uk sitcom) to appear out of thin air 😂. Toms posh accent sounds very much like a camp Roger Moore, more like Kenneth Williams from ‘carry on’ films lol Right now I’m half way through season 6 Lucifer, because I don’t want him to disappear, so I’ve paused him until I know season 7 is about to hit our screens 😮
