I don’t read it as weird … more like there wasn’t any “tea” to spill, which is often interpreted as something funny, shocking, etc., but rather a (as he said) a pure, heartfelt, emotional scene.

He completely avoids mentioning his costar and focuses instead on Kevin- like he forgot about her and he barely answered the question. Both him and Lauren did an amazing job acting in this scene and it feels like he barely acknowledged her. It really feels like they aren’t friends anymore and it’s really sad.

@@carriecole4072 , I wasn’t at this event, so I don’t know the context surrounding this clip and thus would hesitate to jump to any conclusions about what it means. (Tom has always been effusive about his praise & admiration for Lauren.)

I wasn’t there either but in the past he wouldn’t hesitate to give her credit and talk about her - instead he gave only credit to Kevin. He never even alluded to her. It was very very different from years past and weird and sad IMO
