Netflix was so smart to pick up this show. Millions of people wanted it revived. Just imagine how many new subscribers Netflix will get. I also love that they finally have the opportunity to be more mature with the show. I would love to see some proper gore/nudity/swearing on the show. Being on Netflix doesn't mean more viewers because not everybody has Netflix simply because they don't want to pay or can't spend money on it. But being on Netflix will make sure that ratings are less of a issue. Major channels such as Fox only care about viewership. The moment it dips to low you'll get axed. Just look at Supergirl for example. Her first season ratings on CBS were still better at the end of the season then anything the show gets on The CW but that wasn't good enough for CBS so the show had to change channels to keep it from getting axed.

Yes but what matters to them is if they watch it on fox, because obviously they don't make money if you watch it elsewhere. A billionaire company won't care what people think, they see the stats and they were unhappy about them so they cancelled it.

That's exactly what I think. Chloe has always known, but never admitted it, she's been too afraid, telling herself otherwise. Lucifer will in my opinion be the one to run away because he's also too afraid, to know what life will be like when Chloe knows. He'll lock himself up I his penthouse and go into the same state he did when he killed Uriel. Chloe will make an attempt to reach out to him, but will fail. Eventually, it will dawn on her that her previous roommate, Maze, was indeed a demon. She'll go out of her way to make sure she doesn't see Maze, she'll be flakey for work, due to trying to process everything and reach out to Lucifer. Soon enough, she'll confront Linda who will ultimately be able to talk to Lucifer. Idk what comes next tho lol

I'm a newbie to the show. Saw it listed on Netflix and was intrigued. 1st season episode 6 so far. All the actors are brand new to me and that's a good thing. When I saw the name Jerry Bruckheimer attached I figured it would be a quality show. So far liking it a lot. Tom Ellis brings the right combination of sass and danger. His sidekick reminds me of Hallie Barry. His set -up with the therapist is great. It's lots of fun but also food for thought on the whole biblical conception of hell and the devil. Much like Netflix's series THE GOOD PLACE that does the same thing with Heaven. Or Netflix's Sabrina about witches. Or True Blood with vampires. I loved them all. So Netflix is good for 3 seasons so far. With a fan base like the show has I'm sure there will be more.

Lucifer has a gang of fans in New Zealand and Australia. A lot of friends and family watch this show. We were gutted about the news of it being dropped, and then happy when Netflix picked it up! It's now the reason so many of my friends and family have now subscribed to Netflix lol

gameofthronesfangirl oh yer of course he'll want to blame someone but Amenadiel or Chole would make more sense. Him just for being there and her for breaking up with Pierce and 'causing' it. I feel like it'd be a more intresting story if he maybe blamed Chole and him and Lucifer grew closer because of it. Anyway well see.

The other seasons will be on Netflix in the US probably starting in the fall. As for other countries that depends on the current right holders. And there is no official release date yet. I assume they will release it around spring.

Once Netflix picked the show I actually heard the news that the show would air only in 2019 because Netflix already made the schedule... I hope they can make some change...can't wait that looooonggff

Yes, those seasons will definitely be on Netflix. The episodes were already available on Netflix in some countries where Fox obviously isn't aired, which had helped in them gaining a global following. It's not a surprise really that Netflix picked them up, since they already had syndicated rights for certain countries to begin with, combined with the huge fan outpouring for Lucifer to return.

I definitely see this actor as a prime candidate for James Bond. He is young, is good looking and is tall, slim, athletic and British. He can act the steely determination of a Sean Connery style 007, has the suaveness and quips of Roger Moore’s 007 and the acting credentials and gravitas of Timothy Dalton’s Bond. I do not want to see any more of DC’s aging ugly thug Bond.
