I enjoyed watching a review of all the Halloween food items! It helps give everyone a good idea of what they would like to try before going. There so little time and so much to do at a party. Thank you Tom and Eric for eating all the food and taking one for the team. I also agree with Tom's rant. As much as I enjoy WDW News Today's coverage of special events, I absolutely hate the fact that every vlogger wants to be the first to cover these events. During the first few days, they crowd the park and are generally inconsiderate (they're loud, they block paths, they take front row spaces at parades and shows from families for their cameras, etc.) I guess the strategy for us average Joes is to wait a while before going. Come September, the party will probably be empty.

This is honestly why Disney should just do a Media Event and invite everyone they want for a night then ban filming and vlogging and everything else during the regular party, so vloggers can all do their things together and then the tourists and other people can enjoy the real party without all the hassle. Although you will still have to deal with anyone with a camera phone sticking it in the air recording everything which bugs me to no end just watch it in real life

I think Tom gets more joy from Disney's failures than he does with their successes. I have no doubt that at one point he was a true fan of Disney but i think that shine has faded and he's more a detractor now than anything!

It's mind boggling how different the churros are from WDW to DLR. I'm born and raised in SoCal, grew up going to DLR, have been a passholder for 11 years now and love the DLR churros. My wife and kids went to WDW in Aug. 2022 for the 50th celebration and got the churro and pretzel at a cart near Country Bears and my goodness. I'm not exaggerating in saying that we were absolutely disgusted. The churro was so stale and hard and had no taste. And so was the pretzel. We knew that the quality would be different but we didn't know it had such a bad reputation. We were so disappointed lol.

The Mickey cinnamon roll used to be my go to but they are like week old left over biscuit dough. When they were real cinnamon rolls, they would peel apart in layers and were so good. Cinnamon rolls at Gaston's are the same - those are dry as sawdust. I guess the bakers did not come back to Disney after the pandemic.
