The Harry Potter movies should be the blueprint for how we treat our child actors in a way… They’re all pretty well adjusted adults and think back so fondly on their experiences. I just wish all child actors could have that sort of experience instead of the sort of experience we keep hearing about from people like Jeannette McCurdy, Alexa Nikolas, etc

From what I’ve seen, a big part of why it was so well done was because the director for the first two movies was super passionate about the books and he was very patient when the child actors who hadn’t had virtually any experience acting before. Honestly it sounded like a fun time.

@@Zlittlepenguin yeahhh i also watched their hp reunion and all of the cast that attended said they felt bad for giving the production team a hard time because the cast as kids would always get distracted between every takes it’s so fun to hear that they let them play around the set and it was also shown in their behind the scenes the moments like emma watson and tom felton playing the hand slap thingyy so adorbs to be honest❤

For being a spoiled brat in the story, Draco seemed to be pretty powerful with Magic despite not being too into books and learning. He was definitely going through it the whole series and probly knew he was gonna be a death eater before the 1st movie, but he definitely seemed braver and more powerful than his father. And tbh without Draco around, Hermione wouldnt have become such a badass. Honestly my favorite character outside of Hagrid

@Day It was such a great read, once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down and finished it over a weekend. Definitely recommend if you’re in to Harry Potter or just a fan of Tom in general. It felt nostalgic reading it. The majority of the book is on his years through Harry Potter, but he also delves into other aspects of his life like childhood, family, battles he faced alone, there’s really touching stories and lessons learned. What I appreciate about his book is that he has chapters dedicated to different people in his life including the older and younger members of the Harry Potter cast, he talks of his appreciation of different individuals with entire chapters dedicated to them. Moreover Emma Watson herself wrote a beautiful purely written foreword introduction for the book which made it all the more enticing to read.
