I'm glad I saw this video because I also saw problems in the first alteration, especially on the rear right shoulder blade and length of the shirt sleeves. Even though the adjustments were subtle the suit looks significantly better. Imagine all the alterations Craig had to endure to look as good as he did.

Canvas, on the back shoulder, very nice David! The pants do look "screen accurate ". Overall improvement, a great fit as it should be with Tom Ford. A belated Happy Birthday! A cool story on the canvas going through customs, that's "worth" retelling. I actually love the buttons,bone or shell?

The suit fits very well but the watch seems to prevent the shirt cuff from showing the required length. In the pictures I have seen of Bond in the suit you are wearing he seems to be wearing an Omega Seamaster. Your channel is without doubt one of the best. I admire your attention to detail and the passion you obviously have for all things Bond.

Pants and sleeves width are a definite improvement! Back looks much better too as there seem to be excess fabrics before. I thought the way the shoulders looked before were great though. It may be just my eyes but the shoulders seems abit uneven now. The right shoulder seems to "lift" higher then the left. 🤔

@@TheGlobuleReturns oh yeah most definitely. It does not detract from the overall look of the suit too much, which is very very good indeed. However for a tailored job with 2 fittings I would have expected them to adjust the jacket accordingly to compensate for that. I just find his Spectre and Skyfall suits to fit much much better is all.

The pattern lines up perfectly and you look Very smart. I have to say that in my opinion the Daniel Craig Tom Ford suits are a size too small (For a working spy). I learned a lot of my style from Bond and it actually makes me feel torn on this suit. The lapels are way too small and I can’t say I’m a fan of the collar on the shirts. The pattern and colors are fantastic though. There is something off about the fit but maybe it’s the lapels throwing me off? This suit makes you look smaller and your other Tom Ford suits flatter your physique.

It's not great but it does fit a lot better than from your first video - well done! Suggestion - why don't you get the fabric code from Tom Ford - likely to be Zegna fabric, as Zegna produces for them anyways, and take it to a tailor for a bespoke experience using the NTTD stylistic points, i.e., smaller convex notch lapels, strong co-rollino shoulders, padded chest etc.. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when it comes to fit! Also, yes - two fittings is basic. The first is for the tailor, and the second (forward fitting) is more for the customer and for the tailor to make adjustments- never, ever just go with one!

The catch is, the fabrics that Zegna produces for Tom Ford are exclusively designed for TF, so you can't get the same swatch from a tailor who has Zegna fabrics.

I think the problem with this cut is, you have to be in a certain proportion. A 50C (c stands for short) has kinda mess up the cut when the natural size should be 50R (regular). Daniel Craig is 5ft 10 of which I personally think even a normal 50R Tom Ford is too long for him, 48R is more his size but I guess due to his physique he needs a 50R. I know DC needs a 50R as I saw one of the props on sale on ebay with his name on it. The issue is, David is almost 2 sizes out of the normal cut, he should be a 36R to retain the "ideal" Tom Ford proportion. The alts were done pretty well, but like David said there were a lot of work. I personally had to do a size differential where I'm normally a 48R Windsor (a wider shoulder cut than this) to a 50R Spencer (similar cut as this suit but maybe with shoulders slightly narrower than this), the alternations was a bit of a nightmare where I have to shorten and taken in the arms, the body we didn't touch as I'm 5ft 10ish and I just got away with it but if you compare the arm length to the body, is a bit out of proportion. Is like back in Dior Homme days, if you are a 50R, don't try and pull the classic Hedi Slimane suit look, is 46R and 48R you can "just" get away with it.

Smashed Crab Face small details aside, they’ve aged incredibly well - mostly because they actually fit him, unlike Craig’s which are plainly just too small everywhere!

It’s a suit for filming, practicality is put aside and it’s for a more movie-like, slim, nipped appearance first fit. Tom Ford suits have always had this approach, and don’t get started on “but spies need fullness for a gun and holster...” thing

Sleeve crown should be a bit wider in order to have a smooth transition into the rope of the shoulder and not see divots. Also divot is highlighted for right shoulder since it is shorter than left. Maybe reducing right shoulder length would be also nice. I have this very same problem of having my right shoulder sloped and shorter

Hi! Love your channel for all the great content and your great charisma, but unfortunately, I think it has to be said that this suit does NOT fit you well at all. It is too small! You can tell the sleeves are too tight, but what especially throws the balance off is the exposed tie and shirt under the middle button of the jacket! It is a VERY common problem with men, wearing off-the-rack suits that are "slim-fitting" and simply a size (or two) too small. However, from the suit that costs thousands of dollars (as much as a bespoke Neapolitan or Savile Row suit from one of the legendary tailors), you'd expect the fit to be impeccable (especially, considering all the alterations that have been conducted by, supposedly, "great" alteration tailors at Tom Ford)! Also, the pant rise is way, way too short, but that has been the "style" (as unflattering as it is) for the past 15 years of so.

The suit does look better overall but the armholes and the shoulders look terrible for a luxury suit that must have cost the earth. Plus I think it looks like the button and the jacket is pulling as it’s a tad to tight , The trousers couldn’t fit any better they look incredible now.
