TOM FORD TOBACCO OUD INTENSE | Love At First Sniff???

Sooo after testing on skin, the drydown reminds me ALOT of a mix between Tobacco Vanille and Amber Absolute. The oud in the opening didn't return in the drydown. I really enjoyed wearing this but would prefer it in colder temps. Worth a test for sure! :)

I own a 100ml bottle of this, and absolutely love it! It is thick and intense. I do wear a tiny spritz in the spring and summer, but it fits the winter vibe more, for sure. This fragrance definitely smells of high quality and money.

I like the plain Oud Wood by Tom Ford, I obviously don't like strong, or very animalic ouds, or any of the very animalic notes in perfumery. It may just be that I have not been exposed to it enough and it could be something you acquire a taste for, but I really don't see myself delving too deeply into strong ouds. But, you never know, I did not like sushi and sashimi years ago and now it's one of my favorite meals! Hope all is well, take care, Ginny 😘😘😘

Hello, Ms. Arlene!!! I tried this a few months ago. I love potent fragrances, but this one was a bit too overbearing for me. A lot of people compare this to TF's Amber Absolute and I prefer Amber Absolute over this.
