I'm so, so happy you have done this review. I ordered mine last week (🤞 I ordered the correct shade) and because makeup cannot be returned here in the UK, I was a little concerned. I'm definitely not at all worried now! PS : Before and after using hyaluronic acid ALWAYS spritz your skin with a hydrating toner. The acid will then have moisture to draw from, avoiding any hydration being lost through the skin. When the acid is in a foundation - alternative every skincare step with a toner (ie : toner - HA- toner - serum - toner - etc). Doing this will ensure your hydration levels are at it's optimum. 😊😊🌸💗🌸

I LOVE the stick foundation, but this is quickly becoming my FAVORITE foundation of all time. It's just so soft and beautiful. Smooth but Radiant at the same time. @@melthompson2856 Its been a process🤪 My normal shade is 7.5 shell Beige and it's GREY, literally GREY. lol. So. I bought 7.0 (should have bought 7.2. My mistake lol) and it's a little light. So, I just ordered 7.2 and PRAYING I get it right. I freaking love this foundation so it's worth the hassle, but dang. I hate the shades being wonky🤪

hi mel! i recently reviewed this foundation as well. i have really oily skin and when i wore it without primer, it sank into my pores like any other foundation. on the day i used a mattifying/pore filling primer, it looked great all day. it did settle into my laugh lines by hour 7, but it was minimal. i like the foundation as well. i wouldn’t say it’s a matte foundation either. thanks for sharing your review!

I had already purchased it when I saw a negative review... I was Soo worried I wouldn’t like it.... but it’s quite the opposite! I love it!! I live in an area where it gets up to 120+ degrees ... and nothing really holds up... but this one held up te pretty good! I work wear this foundation for 12 plus hours daily and although I can see some wear... nothing too much! I love it!!!🤩

The ingredient you mentioned, “caprylic” is one of the fatty acids in coconut oil so that explains your breakouts since you mentioned being sensitive to that substance. Thanks for your thorough review as always! 💕

AntheaToya actually it was Isocetyl which is a fatty acid. It's vegetable derived from Palm or coconut oil. Which is why it may sometime work and sometimes not. It's not always derived from coconuts. What's more alarming to me is there number off times people hear the word alcohol and automatically think drying. Sort of like the word acid. Not always negative.

Hi Mel I use my own sunscreen but yes I prefer not have mine in my foundation, matte oh no I prefer hydrated foundation . Mine has a serum in and I like it this way , I have always used a separate sun screen because I have the choice as if I am indoors I won’t use a sunscreen , as with Covid -19 I have been indoors since feb . Plus I tend to close my curtains or blinds if it’s sunny to keep my rooms cool .

The Temptalia website/newsletter has a great foundation matching grid that lets you enter a foundation you use to help you find an match in a new formula. It’s better than the Sephora “find match” option because Christine from Temptalia keeps her grid updated with user feedback. I’ve used it several times and haven’t been disappointed.

i have the same issues with those ingredients. I use retin-A and it does take car of the whiteheads. I have two sonia kashuk sponges and they don't work for me. it picks up the concealer and foundation and blends it away. I tried the Shop MissA sponges seen in @savannahsylver videos and IT IS SO GOOD. It leaves the product where your put it and blends so great.

Dawn Madison ohhh really because I LOVE the GA luminous silk! I straight away from it for so long because I thought it wouldn’t last well on me and that it didn’t have good coverage but once I finally tried it I’ve been obsessed ever cents. I do like the Estee Lauder futurist a lot I just prefer the Giorgio Armani one so if this is like that I think if it wasn’t for the price tag I would be buying it today.

It's really a great foundation, don't get me wrong, but I think it performs just as well as the Luminous Silk, if not the exact same, at least on my combo oily skin. If Sephora has a sale,,,,,I may purchase it, but I really don't want to spend $88 on something I feel is interchangeable, you know what I mean!

I live in Florida and my skin is combo but it can get oily as the day goes on and the luminous silk is just beautiful but yeah unless I got it on sale or bought it from someone for cheaper then I would not pay $88 I would definitely wait till the sale on Sephora.
