It's only in recent years kind of come to light more or less what his real intention in making this movie was, but basically he was the hot comedy product at the time (early 2000's) and the suits were like "The kids love you, we don't know why, so uhhhh fuck it here's $1 million, go make a movie -- you can do whatever you want" so Tom Green is like "Anything, eh?"
