Loved Tom, and he played in The Billy several times when Sheila and I ran it; The Black Lion was a great pub, home from home to me. I recorded Tom on my old Akai reel to reel with The Strung Out Sisters, brilliant. RIP Tom, much missed

The Black Pig / lion , Loved the pub - loved the crack ...1970-1977 sometimes used to clean it Sunday Mornings with Curly Bell , Paul Lane and little John ,better known as “the Victoria Promonade Industrial cleaners “... we did it free just to get access to the bar before it opened ! We always had a Raging thirst especially sunday mornings !!but we were honest and paid for what we drank ! Tom Hall was one of Many great characters That are sadly missed...

So many good memories of Tom in various bands throughout the 80's, mainly at the Black Lion. What I would give to see the man entertaining us all again. Tom, you're very sadly missed. Peace x
