I listened to a radio thing he did once and he was telling the story of when he went to an African village, and I think someone asked for water or something and someone there said "There is no water". And how he thinks of that to put things into perspective. Even though it wasn't my experience, I think of that quote whenever I'm feeling grumpy about something.

I think you misunderstood my comment. It too disappoints me when fellow fans just refer to Tom as a sex symbol, and believe their sole purpose in life is to bow before him. Tom is also my role model. :) I'm a pianist and a singer and hope to go into musical theatre, so everything he says about life in general and also about his experiences as an actor is so valuable to me. One of my biggest weaknesses is my fear of failure, which used to make me afraid to go after my dreams. After watching an interview he did for RADA, I realised that I have nothing to be afraid of, and that the dreams I have for my future are completely attainable with dedication and hard work. What was interesting about the woman who asked a question while was cosplaying as Mystique wasn't so much her costume as the way her strained voice manifested itself: she was speaking with two, distinct tones. I can understand someone learning to do that but she was doing it unintentionally.
