Tom is such a freaking dork. Loki might be a wicked badass with a mischievous streak but Tom is just a total dork who laughs at his own jokes and does hilarious crap like put on sparkly capes for sketches of movies he's done. And goes into a short happy tangent about how much he loves cake and that everyone should eat more cake. What a freakin legend. I love this man and want nothing more than to meet him and hug him and thank him for his precious dorkness.

That quote about cake is actually really inspiring to me on a personal level. I’ve always struggled with my desire to eat more cake than just two slices. People would always make fun of me and get offended if I ate more cake and ask how I wasn’t already full from food and cake. I’ve always wanted to buy myself a cake and eat the entire cake all by myself in one sitting, but I’ve never had the courage to do so because of my childhood trauma related to cakes. Tom Hiddleston has inspired me to follow my dream of eating an entire cake, and because of him I will go out and buy myself a cake tomorrow and I won’t share any of it!
