I think you're right. I have a couple of other Fleming audios read by him which are very comparable. Most certainly not T. Hiddleston (dunno why the uploader thought so). But Mr. Vance has a very crisp, yet mysterious sounding delivery, and is all good. One of the better guys to do Fleming, IMHO.

The reading of octopussy and other stories by Ian Fleming is damn good my favourete James Bond short story was a round robin where he and Walter b Gibson the author of the shadow pulp novels and Lester dent the author of doc savage is bond chickens out or the stone cake this short story was the bases for one of the Arthur stories by Marc brown as well as my favourete the maskarader mr Flemings pulp villa do you also have the bat by Johnston mc culley read by Burt ward Robin of the sixties batman tv series if you do not have the bat by Johnston mc culley I think that Burt ward should read this one for blackstone audiobooks
