I dont think it was set in stone. But i think they definitely had the idea pitched and had possibly made calls to see if tobey and Andrew would interested. I genuinely believe he did get a bit nervous at first with that question being asked as he probably had an idea if it being in the works but my guess disney made sure he got a little training on what to do in a situation like that
