Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is the latest film to helm the title of the adored horror video game franchise. Set in 1998, this origin story explores the secrets of the mysterious Spencer Mansion and the ill-fated Raccoon City. We were lucky enough to sit down with two of its stars Tom Hopper & Avan Jogia and pick their brains about what brought them to this project.

@@kyleday5026 Well originally I wanted to see it for Avan 😚 I went in prepared to possibly not like the movie & just appreciate seeing him on the big screen.But as it turned out...I liked it! I liked the creepiness & the jump Scares. I like scary movies but didn't think I'd like zombies. But it was good.

@@kyleday5026 Yes The Director Johannes Roberts is a huge John Carpenter Fan and basically describes Resident Evil Welcome To Raccoon City As Assault on Precinct 13 with Zombies! i'm a huge fan of Johannes film's The Strangers Prey At Night which is a film he directed before doing Resident Evil and his style in that film had more of an 80s slasher feel to it with 80s pop music Resident Evil feels more like a 70s Zombie Thriller! with a pretty upbeat soundtrack from Journey to 4 non blondes i know some people hated this film but i loved it because they stayed true to the games! and to be honest this a true Resident Evil Film! :)

Its a good popcorn flick I think if you don't go in thinking about the RE lore as the movies always somehow deviate from that
