So it's possibly the most important (albeit hidden in plain sight) diss on the track. It's really showing just how smart he is and understands the art... I didn't realize this until someone mentioned it yesterday, but diss tracks usually don't have hooks... but he added one. Two possible angles 1) Tom added a hook in the Mac Lethal diss, so it could be an homage there but also 2) Tom has taken a lot of flack for weak hooks, so considering how strong this hook is, it could be him flexing on Tom. This is beyond an insanely good track for so many reasons... I'm mind blown at the technicality. This is some Em level technicality...

But, Tom said that he didn't feel good about it afterwards and wasn't going to do anymore battles. He's got more important shit to write about. I get it and agree that he does too much of the same, but the message is getting spread farther every time he puts out a new political track and it's a message that needs to be heard, so I can't blame him. So well said and I agree 100%! I really believe Tom's on a different level with a much different priority than Ryan. Ive supported HOG and RHEC for years, but Ive had to step back from Ryan in the last year. His family fucked him royally, which mad me mad for him and it broke my heart. I believe any of us would lose our fucking minds if we had to deal with all the shit hes been through in thr last 2yrs - between his family, Wallen, Luke Combs, Chase Matthews and the money-grubbing women he's allowed in his space. Most obvious, though, hes been on a steady decline with his rationale and rants since the family shit and even worse since he hooked up with Brianna, which is so disappointing. First off, it's been SOUNDLY DEBUNKED that Mac Lethal's marriage falling apart and some other personal issues, had NOTHING, WHAT SO EVER, to do with Tom or their dumb beef. Second, if you actually think that Tom won that rap battle, much less owned Mac so hard that it "destroyed" his life, then you are on some serious high end crack my friend!!! In one of Tom's comebacks, he held his own, had a some decent bars, and actually was spitting pretty well, flow wise. In fact if it wasn't a diss battle, I would have given the edge to Tom for rhyme schemes and flow, but Mac Lethal's bars were far more true to battle rap and landed way harder, sorry, I know you're used to thinking really corny stuff is profound or edgy, but it's not, and Tom's bars, as usual, had very little substance, above third grade playground insults.
