Oh, thanks for posting the 2:40 one, I have been looking for it for a long time! This scene has some legitimate historical value. Note how the earth is surrounded by a cloudy sky. The cartoon is from the late 40s or early 50s. While at the time humans were already successfully launching shit into the stratosphere, we did not have any wide-spread photos of such experiments, and didn’t yet have the concept of a “blue marble surrounded by a starry black void” in mass culture.
