The dark chords are sampled from the Masters at Work dub remix of Bjork’s Violently Happy which came out in 93, MAW sampled the chords from earth wind and fire but pitched em to keys, 4hero were good at sampling let’s say 😁👍

I found the vinyl presses were ok to mix together but were way too quiet if you tried to mix them with standard 12" tracks. I wouldn't have used them out live.

ZappoTan jungle never died! Music just separated into more genres, so did the followers. Bristol still has a massive jungle scene and I left in 2000!

Dunno about you lot...but the first time I heard the Jungle sound was 1996 being a nipper watching that Father Ted episode when the new father Jack was a total dick and in one scene started to blast some Jungle music while drilling holes in the wall...been hooked on it ever since!
