The Murphy/Salinger contest Tom refers to was 1964.

This song was on Lehrer's "That was the year that was" album (which came out in 1965), but not this exact version. This is clearly a recording from some other live performance. "WH Special" to me suggests "white house". Perhaps Lehrer played there. It could just as easily be something else, though.
