Kyle Rittenhouse situation came down to this: Kyle was charged with murder for defending himself against criminals. He had relatives in Kenosha and had more of a right to be there than all of these protestors who came from many states to just cause trouble. The ones who came at Kyle, I call them Psycho-Smurf, Skater-Boi, Bicep-Boi, and Ninja FAFO'd. Kyle was not a hero, but he took care of his business. #HangOverGang

Yes, and to add just a bit more, he lived NEAR Kenosha, although his home was just on the other side of the state line, but it was still only a few miles away. He had friends and family there, during the riots after George Floyd's death. He and a few others went there to try to safeguard some businesses in the area, because there were legitimate concerns about businesses being looted and burned. I believe he also had first aid kits and stuff on hand, as well, in case they needed to render any first aid. They were LEGALLY armed, and ended up getting chased down by rioters, one of whom was attempting to bash his head in with a skateboard, and another who pointed a pistol at him while he was lying on the ground. He ended up shooting three people in legal self defense. They tried to paint him as a white supremacist, although all three people who were shot were white, and one of them was a convicted pedophile. There was some debate about whether he should have ever placed himself in a position for this to happen to begin with, but he was legally justified in what he did. A lot of people tried to hold him up as a hero, but a lot of people who believed he was correctly found NOT guilty still don't think he should be held up as some kind of hero.

Some background on Rittenhouse: The testimony in the trial: Jacob Black and Rittenhouse testified that Rittenhouse retrieved the gun from the basement on Aug. 25, 2020, before they both headed to downtown Kenosha with their rifles to help guard a used car dealership that had been damaged by a fire in a prior protest that turned destructive. Rittenhouse was there to protect his friend's property, he is not a hero. The founding father's are the real heroes, they wrote the constitution and protected our right to bear arms. The use of the word "hero" is used to flagrantly it has a watered down meaning. It's meaning has been destroyed. Kyle ended up defending himself while being attacked by several BLM activists.

Rittenhouse was attacked by a convicted pedophile who tried to take his gun away. That man and another had previously started fires. The other guy was armed and brandished it at Rittenhouse before he fled when he was chased down by the pedo. He shot the pedo when he grabbed his barrel. Rittenhouse then took off to the police line, but bystanders chased him down and continued to attack him. The 2nd person to be killed attacked him multiple times by striking him in the head with a skateboard, something that can be fatal. He shot and missed another man labeled "jump kick man" who kicked him in the face after he was knocked down by the skateboard. The last person who was shot pointed a pistol at his face before Rittenhouse shot him in the arm to prevent himself from being murdered. Whether or not Rittenhouse should have been armed is a separate question, and if you condemn him for having the weapon, you have to equally condemn the man who first brandished a pistol and the one who pointed a gun at his face, but those against Rittenhouse never do (radicals aren't anti-gun, they just anti-opposition having guns). Grifters on both sides talked about Rittenhouse. Those against him parroted untrue talking points over and over ("he crossed state lines with a rifle," "he had no connection to Kenosha," "he went there with intent to kill rioters." All of these were proven lies in court). The grifters on the Right championed Rittenhouse as a hero and used his name and what happened to him to their advantage (which is what Tom is saying, here). Rittenhouse himself has said on multiple occasions that he's not a hero. He, personally, does not revel in what happened.

Rittenhouse was a very complicated situation. I lived in WI, during the whole debacle. Basically Rittenhouse, who lived in Kenosha part time & worked there, took a firearm to an active riot scene with the intention of defending his work place and community from looting and destruction. He was accosted by three separate individuals and he killed two of them. In the American justice system we have a self defense clause. It applies to individuals who are either personally attacked and fight back, or intervene on behalf of a third party whom they have witnessed being attacked. Ex: you see a woman being accosted in an alley, you step in and hit the attacker, they hit their head on the way down crack their skull and die. Ex#2: a woman is being accosted, she defends herself with a weapon , or improvised weapon and kills her attacker. Technically in these instances both you and the woman have killed a person, since you neither intended nor planned to kill that person and it only happened because they were attempting to harm someone during the incident a prosecutor can decline to press charges. If they do press charges and you can prove it, you can use the self defense clause as your defense, which is what Rittenhouse did. In the Rittenhouse case, Rittenhouse was charged with murder which requires, as part of the burden of evidence, the prosecution to show intent. They had to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Rittenhouse brought the firearm to the riot with the specific intention of killing people. They didn’t meet the burden of evidence and Rittenhouse was declared not guilty by reason of self defense. For a while Rittenhouse was being lauded by the political right as a kind of hero, when in reality he’s a dumb kid who did something extraordinarily stupid, killed two people, and ended up a killer because of it. A killer, but not, by legal standards, a murder.

This happened cuz there was another out of control riot in the town of out of control BLM thugs (rioting our whole country, cuz of the George Floyd murder-who was resisting arrest tho - by a bad cop who went too far) … were looting, attacking and burning the city down. Which going on all over the country being allowed By the leftist city mayors! Rittenhouse was chased down and attacked by three thugs trying to kill him! (Google the video clip - you’ll see it!) - Tom isn’t dissing Kyle, he’s just making a bigger point that our country has lost its focus on our foundational values and Constitution! Kyle was helping a storeowner defend their property during the riots. He shot and killed 3 people who came after him, first, in order to save himself and prevent other people from being possibly killed by these people. He was arrested but then vindicated by video that showed definitively that he acted in self defense.

He shot 3 people, 2 died. It was definitely self defense. But he is neither a villain nor a hero. He was just a kid who probably shouldn't have been there. He was a bit naïve. He was carrying a first aid pack as well as his gun. The kid was offering aid to anyone, no matter whose "side" they were on. After shooting those men, Kyle tried to turn himself in to police, but they didn't realize what had happened and, I think, ignored his attempts. He did finally turned himself in to cops, but I think it was where his mother was living.

Having developed epilepsy as a toddler I didn't have much choice about being a lab rat as a child but since I became an adult many years ago I have refused to be a guinea pig. Regarding Rittenhouse, he was a teenager that showed up with a legally owned rifle and a first aid kit to help out his community during riots. He was attacked by 4? white adults trying to injure or kill him and he killed 3 of them in self defense. It was the progressive left (democrats) that first started saying that the right (conservatives) were viewing Rittenhouse as a hero. To my knowledge, no one was really saying that but it was used by them via the media to force a narrative that conservatives were idealizing him. In my opinion, the kid took care of business and constitutionally defended himself and others against radical members of BLM and Antifa who were destroying property and participating in violent riots. In every interview I have ever seen, Rittenhouse himself states clearly that he is no hero.
