Jealousy is a beast that controls you if you don’t keep it in check. I’ve always been confused at the amount of hate he receives. What shocks me is he should be praised or at least given credit for paving a way for people to do it on their own rather than selling their entire beings to labels who take everything they can from artists. People say he's not a great rapper/lyricist, he even says it himself towards the end of this song but, that's incorrect. He's a one of a kind, dope as "F" artist. A visionary, I agree. He/Nova and done this thing all without a co-sign, label, manager etc. Love this track (Top 5 for me), the music is ominous, bars are🥶 and the video by Nova is awesome. 1 million racks for his taxes as an indy artist is incredible. The only thing I can think of why everyone is out to get Tom is the fact he IS doing it completely independently and doing it well. The artists who aren't on his level are jealous of his success but don't want to work 20-hour days like Tom and Nova do to achieve what he has, and the label people don't like the fact Tom is showing other artists that they can succeed without label help. Labels aren't getting 'their' cut of his work. Tom and Nova are making bank without anyone else's help and showing everyone else that it can be done. Fun fact: When Tom was a pro wrestler his name was Allstar 😉. I see a lot of that showmanship come out in this song. He is so passionate and puts everything he has into it, it's hard not to be drawn in with him. This is one of my top favorite of Tom's songs.💥💥💥 Songs like this: Hangman, This House, Cancelled, The Way I Am (Remix), No Response, D.R.U.G. While they were filming this video, Nova, who suffers from respiratory problems, had a sever attack. They called the ambulance, but since it was during the lock downs, the EMTs wouldn't come into the house and Tom ended up having to carry her to the curb for them to work on her. They gave her treatment, but she refused to go to the hospital and went to lay down for a few hours. After that she got up and insisted on finishing the video. SuperNova! #HangOverGang

The music industry has no part in his business. They hate that. Rappers are jealous because they are not willing to put in the hours and work it takes to crawl to the top. Tom took a lot of hate because he called out mumbled rappers and the lack of content in current rap. When Tom realized that his haters couldn't stop watching his videos so they could write bad comments, he decided to edge them on. So the more they commented, the more money he made. I'd recommend doing No Response later. It came about as a result of Twitter trolling. After Tom's "Whiteboy", some uppity "rapper", named Mac Lethal, started dissing Tom on Twitter. This led to one of Tom's few dis tracks, "Mac Lethal Sucks", to which Mac put out an attempt at a dis track of his own. I forget the name of it though. To this Tom responded with "Mac Lethal Sucks 2: Lethal Injection". Finally came "No Response", which if I'm not mistaken was Tom's final answer to further trolling. In short, he knew when it was time to stop feeding the trolls.
