Dear rappers description Tom and Nova both were completely broke the night that he wrote this song. They were facing eviction from their apartment that was infested with mice and roaches and also had no electricity because they couldn’t pay the bill. Tom sat out on the front stoop and lit his last half cigarette and typed these lyrics into his phone. He said it was like an Epiphany struck him after he finished writing it and that he got really excited and ran in the house and told Nova that he had just written the one that was going to change everything! They recorded the video that night after Tom recorded the vocals! The reason the video was so simplistic is because they only had one light which was hooked up to an extension cord plugged in to a neighbors house. Nova covered the bulb with red wax paper to give it the red tint! Tom said he borrowed a total of $1000 from five different people to pay for advertising of the video on Facebook and KZbin and it went viral in three days!! And the rest is history! Hey guys binge watched last night your channel. Btw I lived in Tulsa for 15 months while I was going to Tulsa Welding School. I used to live down by 71st and Lewis. Now living in Wichita, KS. History lesson backstory to this track, and a little bit about Tom and Nova.... Nova Leigh Paholek (Nova Rockafeller) female rapper from Edmonton, Canada, grew up partially in Negril, Jamaica. Nova was signed to Def Jam for awhile until they wanted her to become a Britney Spears carbon copy. Big fall out, and she was fired. Via an email Nova was performing a gig and Tom asked to perform, circa 2009. Fast forward, Tom had gotten over his alcoholism 2015, and suicidal thoughts 2016 and Nova asked him to come down to South Central. They formed their rock-n-roll band GFBF (girlfriend boyfriend) which wrote anti-love songs, until they became a couple. Tom was singing songs about alcohol drugs, and women because he thought that's what it took to get signed. When he heard what happened to Nova, he did a 180. With an extension chord running to the neighbors house because the electricity was shut off, $10 to his name, and half a cigarette left, Tom was frustrated, and wrote this on his porch. Instantly knowing it was a hit, Tom went to make the beat, and told Nova to start shooting the video. He called Brandon Hart (fellow rapper, and best friend), Jenna Emilly MacDonald (Tom's sister), and 3 others to borrow $1100. He dropped it on marketing the track on Facebook. He was right, it went viral. The 4 most important tracks that propelled his career was: 1 Dear Rappers 2 Helluvit 3 Whiteboy 4 This House

#HOG in the house. Don't worry about the BLM stuff. So just a little history. When this went viral, not only did he get an instant loyal following, because he was saying stuff many had been thinking, but it wasn't worth the trouble with the cancel culture no minds, so people kept it to themselves. Well Tom became the voice for those folk. He just says it like it's common sense. So Tom lived in Canada, and moved to the U.S. in his mid twenty's and is no a citizen. But in Canada, the race issue is not as intense as it is here. When he put out this vid, he got a bunch of hate along with the love. Because Tom is white he got called a racist by some who said he dumped on our music and dissed black rappers. You heard the song, it was to the industry and rappers in general. He was calling them to be more responsible and not promote gangsta lifestyle. Back in the 80's, there initially was code in yje gangs that it was acceptable to sell drugs, but if you did drugs, that was getting jumped out territory, because they saw how f'ed up you become. Somewhere that changed to where hey do it and promote in their songs, next thing you know they are dead either from banging or overdose. So not being familiar with the criticism, especially when that wasn't said, tom did what tom does. He penned his song Whiteboy to try to set the record straight and say don't judge me and call me a racist. Well you can probably figure out how that went. He got more love, but more haters and they were going nuts. Tom tells how that shook him to his core, and he wasn't prepared for it. He says it shook his confidence and he for a short period of time, he started self reflection. He began to ask himself if he was racist. But than one day while he was questioning himself, he said all of a suden he snapped out of it and said. wait a minute, they didn't hear what i said in DeaR Rappers, And i just did a whole song saying don't call me something when i clearly just told i hate racists, Nazis, KKK just like you. so f*** these people, they are the racists and haters, not me. so Just a little more. As Tom got more popular, the censorship cancel culture clowns started hsting, but also many Eminem fans who are left leaning are brutal towards Tom. you heard Dear Slim, Tom did that because Slim was his beacon of hope and msde him realize i can do this and i don't have to be white. Well the lefty stan haters were pver the top, saying he doesn't have any talent, he's trash, doing and saying everything to discourage Tom.So Tom who had been doing this since a teenager and trying to make it a career, note, Tom early on got face tats knowing once he did that he had to make rapping work cause you wouldn't be able to get most jobs, here it is he is starting to have success, but he is also getting more nasty hate. And as an artist, you are trying to create art people like, and you know their will be some detractors, but his was like he was the Anti Christ. It bothered him for a time. And with Tom, and you will experience it as well, His haters are dedicated. Instead of like normal people, if we don't like it, we just don't go back . No, Tom has dedicated trolls who everytime he puts something out, they make it a point to leave comments. but tom realized after a bit, that the algorithim actually works for you by views, and comments. so these dedicated idiots who say Tom is crap and take the time to post it on his comments , they have increased his expanding to being seen by new viewers, because the algo is not based on positive views. That's because advertisers are paying more for wider viewed and commented content. So these idiots actually have made Tom more famous and rich. Tom, as you can see has a loyal fan base. Most are loving and want to have discussions and be cool if you have a different opinion, like it used to be. But you have some knuckleheads who are so protective of Tom from all the hate, that they don't realize they are now bullying. AS you will see, Tom is very diverse ans all his songs are not Social commentaryTom has a lot of vids, and toi be honest, there are a handful i would say according to my preference, are not a banger. But once again, that's my opinion. You will have some that don't hit you. But really, for the amount of content, Tom and Nova are geniuses, because i can't think of any other artist who put out mass quality music that rarely misses/ enjoy the music and the fam.

Exactly what Tom stated in this vid about meds. Also what you guys pointed out too. I myself waited 20yrs working on 0- 4 hrs sleep 9-12 hr days at the office with patients. And prior being a little kid in school ( it’s different having slight insomnia whn you’re a kid) but you have more energy. Anyway I waited yrs before finally biting the bullet, after trying so many otc meds weed, which only made me paranoid AF, except Kush (& you can’t smoke that because you can’t move yet alone work. & other methods for sleep/chronic headaches tmj. Sry I’m writing so much. But yes, finally after 27yrs since childhood, I finally began taking something the correct way now for many yrs. Now I’m a happier person who gets at least 6 hours. Seeing the sun come up was the most depressing thing in the world. I don’t drink on my meds., unlike so many people young & older. Hence why it says it on the bottle. I never once nodded out nor od. Things have gotten worse today. However when I was a teenager I remember people trying to get me to take the same meds I’m on now, at parties while I was drinking beer. They were so messed up.. They said I was the one with the sleep/ chronic tension headaches and needed them. I said “ you look like you need to sit down, as they were almost falling over.” Meds can definitely help legit patients with legit issues. Anxiety /sleep meds aren’t supposed to make one nod out. If they are really someone who can’t sleep or has anxiety they can help. Some people that’s the only thing that will help none of the meditation bs. The test is when that person lays down in bed at night…. So the guru telling them to meditate before bed should feel what it feels like. 😂sry I wrote a book. I’m sick of these kids /adults taking shite for fun.

I’ve been following the both of you for a few months now. I’ve watched every reaction you’ve posted, but I’ve watched every one of your Tom reactions at least three times or more. I knew exactly what you both meant when you guys first spoke about how you felt with Tom’s “blm” comment on “Fake Woke”, “Snowflakes”, and “The System”.
