They really opened up on this one. It was powerful when the video showed people disappearing as getting lost to addiction. I am not so far from disappearing myself. I need to get out from the habits I'm in but it is easier to do nothing. That's the problem.

I've listened to this song sooooo many times now. I grew up with my grandparents b/c my mother was an addict. Alcohol, drugs - she gave me to them b/c she didn't want to raise me in that enviornment, and I loved her for it. I watched her struggle, I saw her go thru rehab and half-way houses, falling back into it more than once. I wish so much that she could have heard this song, I lost her in 2017 to COPD. She left it all to raise my brother, and at 15 years old, I made sure I was there as much as possible to help her. When my brother fell into the drug scene, it broke her heart. I've been trying to get him to watch/listen to this, not sure if he has (he's "trying" to drag himself out of the scene, he claims). Yes - this type of song makes anyone that either was in that place, or watched someone in that place, need to speak out.

Never been an addict but I've had a battle with alcoholism between my father and myself. I should have known better seeing what it did to him but I didn't. My daughter also was going in that direction she finally quit as well. Love your faces. ❤️

This song is so deep and personal. I loved the video and sound. The AA meeting and them telling us their stories was REAL. I pray it helps those struggling with addiction and they find themselves again. It's hard to face those demons. They have to deal with those hidden and painful memories/feelings without substances. It's hard and some succumb to the addiction and lose their battle. There is a high death rate from overdoses right now. The media says there is an epidemic like it's just another word. This is what people don't see. Police and EMT's all over the world are having to revive these people. I've watched the videos and it is heart breaking. Thank you for sharing this. I can see the look on your face was the same expression I had hearing/seeing this too.

I’m currently getting help though but it’s hard because they expect me to go to them and I can’t get there! Lol. But I am gonna do all I can to get my life back one day. My knees used to dislocate upto 40x a day so was bed bound. No longer bed bound. But I like songs about anxiety/depression. Makes me not feel alone. Like Demi Lovato - Anyone. The lyrics.
