I've had that same feeling on some of Tom's songs... I think its bc the hooks are not mainstream.. (n that's what we've mostly been indoctrinated with) But then we hear the lyrics n associate those to the new sounds/bars. I feel that's where I start getting completely hooked Just my POV on it. What I take from this song is: if someone doesn't agree with your opinion they hate you. If you have a certain opinion people assume things about you that are or not true. People can get triggered over the littlest things and complain about seems like everything. Here is how I view abortion: first, God commanded us not to murder for any reason. Second, God brings us blessings in many ways so if you are raped, the the person who commits the crime should be put to death. The baby didn't do anything wrong and if you don't want the memories put the baby up for adoption it's better than murder. Third, if if you or child are at risk of death or disability dye to continuing pregnancy, trust God. I have had a disability from birth. Just because somebody has a disability doesn't mean you cant have a life God put all here for a reason and if you or your child die as a result it will not be in vain. Just because im straight and not homosexualy doesn't mean i dont support LGBTQ and be your friend.Participation trophies are not sending the right message. You don't always win. Losing teaches us how to work harder and learn from it. How kids are going to do in the real world and as adults if they are taught you will always win even if you lose? Tom MacDonald is not making fun of fat people, he means look at this from a health perspective. I have mental health issues for real and I think it's so many people just say they have it that haven't really been diagnosed and that's why people that do have it for real don't get a lot of empathy because there is so much pretending in order to get attention The whole thing about Tom being crucified on the cross I understand how Christians would take offense to that I am a Christian as well didn't Jesus get crucified on the cross with orhers because people didn't agree with his opinion? You can't believe everything you hear/see and you can't let someone else's opinion or thought or viewpoint ruin your life kind of reminds me of the song buttholes. Side note i think its awesome he has his sister with him, they did great. The problem with giving participants trophies to kids is that the race means nothing. What it represents is another matter. The race represents life, your career and your dreams and everything in between and by giving trophies to kids for failing you telling that child that they can to through life not trying at anything being lazy and unskilled but expect to get the same reward or trophies or career or life as the people who constantly grind everyday to get to where they wanna be in life.
