Billie and her brother were home schooled and always involved in music and dance. She and her brother wrote and produced all of their songs in her brothers bedroom. She put a song “ocean eyes” online and it went viral. They do have connections in Hollywood though. If you watch Carpool Karaoke it’s a great story of her start. She’s dope! And I can’t even handle how cute little man is boppin’ to the music!!! HOG4EVER 🤘🤘🤘

Billie Ellish's father worked in the music industry as a musician and her brother was already working as a solo artist, her brother wrote the song Ocean Eyes and felt it better suited Billies voice, they had made music together as kids, but never super seriously, there was a rule in there house that they had to be in bed by a certain time but if they were working on music their parents would not enforce the rule, They recorded this song in his home studio in his bedroom and they showed it too Billie's dance teacher who loved it and sent it too a local radio station and then they uploaded it on SoundCloud, it blew up from there locally and then became one of the biggest songs in the world without anyone knowing who she was, it's similar to what happened with Post Malone and his song White Iverson which gained traction on SoundCloud and blew up from having been put on Playlists before anyone knew who he was or what he looked like, Billie's entire debut album was recorded with her brother in that same home studio in his bedroom.

1st I introduced my hubby to ur channel & he's commented on several videos but we share this account. So it's my 1st time commenting even though I've been watching u guys longer!😍 He knows zero about Billie (her music isn't his cup of tea. Nothing against her or the genera) I know I'm a tad late here but @Adam Cuthbert said pretty much the same thing I believe. She did appear on the Ellen degeneres & Jimmy Fallon show (among many others I personally didn't watch) where there's more detail about how her career started. Anyways we🖤u guys & ur son is so darn cute!😍 Side note I don't recall what video it was specifically but Kay I wanted 2 say how much I admire & RESPECT YOU 4 breastfeeding ur son & NOT editing it out! It made me🖤u guys more! We haven't had a baby yet but as a woman I felt oddly empowered even though i've yet 2 become a mother.
