The thing I love about Tom Odell's voice is the fact that it's real. It doesn't sound like all of those in the pop industry. Don't get me wrong, they can sing, but their voices are too perfect. I love that Tom's isn't perfect and it's raw and beautiful. Ugh, he's just amazingly talented and I hope he stays in the music industry for as long as he possibly can.

A lot of pop singers sound perfect, but only on the studio versions of their albums- performing live however, they often are far far far from perfect. Tom is a rare gem that sounds good, if not even better, live. Because like you say, he has the rough around the edges, powerful but beautiful sound and he's very unique.

He might get a deeper or stronger voice as he gets older. & we shall probably love the sound just the same as we love it now. Some artist voices sound exactly the same 30 years later. OR near enough anyway. Like Simply Red and Holly Johnson & Nik Kershaw. Their voices do not change. But might not rich the same high pitch unless they are fit.
