It's hard (nearly impossible) for people who's youth into maturity were internet decades, to understand the monumental nature of the discovery that there were people out there like you who also enjoyed this esthetic. But... Michaelangelo is the Michaelangelo of gay art... you can't get much gayer than the Sistine chapel. He literally painted dudes kissing in there. (Also the pope in hell, because he critiqued Michaelangelo's work as too nude and shameful for a chapel). He truly was the og petty king. Like there's a reason he almost never drew women, and when he did, they were pretty much just dudes with tits. XD
