I loved TP's sense of humor. Dana & I attended the same h.s. & I recall seeing her in the hall when I'd head to my locker. She was class of 1982, I was class of 1983. I don't recall having any classes with her. It was a large school. Nowadays, we chat occasionally thru social media. She & Tom were truly in love.

Tom's lovely wife has revealed the cause of his death as she wants something positive to come from it. she could have kept it secret but in being honest and open it may just well help someone else who is thinking about using opiates which may just save a life. RipTom!

Skygazer I understand what you mean but it's not the opiates that killed him It's the amount he took It's like saying guns kill people No it's the person that kills people He was in legit pain like millions n not all abuse it It's the abuse that kills

Lidya Lu Well, I am no expert when it comes to any type of drug. Today I have read that Prince had taken 20 times the limit of Fentanyl which obviously killed him. Just makes me rather sad that these great artists are dying well before their time. I never heard of Fentanyl until Prince's death.

I think the pubic in general needs to be educated.. Tom was not abusing drugs but this can Happen to anyone. He was a smart guy so if this can happen to him it can happen to anyone who’s in that much pain..EDUCATING people is important. There’s a new killer drug and I who know what else is on the horizon
