I once saw an interview where Petty was smiling as he recalled meeting Roy.Tom said first thing I asked him was "how does it feel to be the greatest living singer in the world"? He said Roy answered in a split second,he said "It feels good" .My mom use to say if "Roy were as pretty as Elvis he would have been Elvis,thats how great he was Michael" That was to a young me in the 70s.I realized Tom and mom were absolutely right but it was the 80s in my 20s that I caught on.A legend is what Mr.Orbinson is.

RIP the three members of The Traveling Wilburys Roy Orbison (April 23, 1936 - December 6, 1988), aged 52 George Harrison (February 25, 1943 - November 29, 2001), aged 58 Tom Petty (October 20, 1950 - October 2, 2017), aged 66 You will always be remembered as legends.
