You were wise to stop when you did! Better safe than sorry. Hope your sulk didn't materialise and you looked on it as a positive experience 😛Olympics is the goal. Stay safe Tom👌

One of the most likeable riders out there at the moment. It's great to see another World Tour rider with MTB experience, makes the rider so much more all-rounded and waaaaay better bike handling skills.

Been trying to find out what happened in Les Gets. Thanks. Watching Tom race is like watching Lewis Hamilton in F1, the class of the field. Just looks so confident. These new kids are ripping up the cycling rule book. Used to be MTB v Road, they are cyclists. Tom has a fantastic future ahead of him in all forms of cycling. Keep the updates coming. PS. Any news on the Ineos Grenadier pickup?

Solid content; been watching Tom since the Trinity days and really enjoy his disposition. Good to see him shifting the paradigm at Ineos. That mtb frame is very stealthy; hard to tell if it’s even a Pinarello 👀

It would be really nice to see Egan Bernal on MTB as well. We all know what he can do on road (and gravel of Strade Biancchi). Would be great to see on MTB too. And Tom, keep on, there are many races yet to come and you will have your time to shine again.

It went together easily in less than an hour. kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.

do NOT let Geraint Thomas anywhere near a MTB. He can't stay upright on a road bike.

Lost a whole bunch of respect for Pidcock at the Xco WC's a couple of weeks ago. While in the pits for a wheel change a support team member hands him a bottle, he drinks threw it on the the deck, grab another and do the same thing, there were no rush, the lady was quarter of an arm length away....really mate? Saw Schurter a while back losing 2 min and having a wheel change in the pits, support team member does the same thing for him, guess what, he hands the bottles back into their hands....oh and Schurter then rode back to 3rd....
